The village belongs to the famous touristic area around Bruges in the province of West Flanders. From Brussels or Ghent : Highway E-40 direction Ostend (Oostende). After Bruges (Brugge) take the exit “Jabbeke”. At the roundabout turn left towards the center Jabbeke. At the end of the street (you are in front of the city hall “gemeentehuis”, turn right. Through the center of Jabbeke drive to the Gistelsteenweg. Direction Gistel. After about 2 km turn left into Krakeelstraat. Nb. 2 is located at the beginning of the town center of Zerkegem on the left.
From Calais : Highway E-40 direction Bruges (Brugge). About 15 km before Bruges you take the exit “Jabbeke”. You arrive at the road “ Gistelsteenweg (roundabout). Turn right, direction Jabbeke/Gistel. Straight on. You will pass 2 more roundabouts and remain on the “Gistelsteenweg”, direction “Gistel”. After about 2 km turn left into Krakeelstraat. Nb. 2 is located at the beginning of the town center of Zerkegem on the left.
